My name is Jon Ranis and I am the owner and chef of the Subs on Hubs food truck. I have been a line cook and a gourmet chef for 20+ years. I have followed my trail of cooking jobs from burger joints like It’s Tops to gourmet comfort food at The Cajun Pacific, and fine dining at The Aqua.
At The Hotel Utah and The Peek Doodle Kids Club, I started taking hold of my expertise and created culinary concepts and matching menus. That experience led me to create a diverse menu that was appealing to both customers and clients – and was pallet worthy. With my deep passion for cooking and the enjoyment of serving delicious foods, I then came up with the idea of making New York style gourmet subs and gyros on the Subs on Hubs food truck.
